Places to Go; Places to Think About - Page THREE

School building

Some photographs aren't about people. Some are just places.

Even when there is an occasional person walking about in the snap, the picture is really about the place.

Here is a collection of such photographs; snapshots from a vacation or just a photo of a building, or a mountain, or a street. Maybe you'll see something familiar. IF you can identify any of these places, add it in the comment section.

As the real estate people say it: Location, location, location.

Bridge

On Reverse:
It is over 50 years ago my brother I used to have to
sit on this bridge to keep the pigs in the meadows
there was no tree there then, this is the river Test and
father had the meadows on both sides for nearly a mile
notice the tall steel tower erected recently to carry the
high power electric wires, these go clear t hrough to
Bristol and I suppose electric light will eventrually
be available in Lockerley and in fact all villages
along where these pylons are erected. times change
even in the villages, that tree makes me feel old
there was no sign of it when I sat there in summer
holidays, minding the pigs and cows. Rob

Landscape

on reverse:
I tried a landscape but it wouldn't
do.
I took this on top of Dean Hill
overlooking our village and the Test
Valley but camera too small
