Children love toys that move, especially ones that move them along too. Tricycles, wagons, pedal cars and bicycles. Our mobile society.
	I recently watched television show about junk dealers. One collector, while pulling an old bicycle frame from under a bush, remarked how independent he felt when, as a child, he got his first bicycle.
	I remember an elderly neighbor of mine who hated to give up her driver’s license because it felt like a loss of independence. She was 84 and hadn’t driven in years, but it was the symbolism that bothered her.

Don't tell me you ran out of gas again.	This may be the oldest version of a pedal car in the whole collectionl.
