DeleteA local channel used to carry all of these bizarre sic-fi movies on Saturday afternoon a long long time ago. I couldn't get enough of them. "Teenagers From Outer Space" still remains one of my faves. But there was one, and I don't remember the name of it, that had a scientist smoking a cigarette. He moved his hand, with the cig, to the back of his head for a moment, and when his hand came back down the cig was gone. Nobody caught this? First it's there and then it's not? And he never did catch on fire.
DeleteThanks Tattered and Lost. Yes, I love those old "B" SciFi movies too. And when you spot a blooper it makes it all the more fun. We just saw "Interstellar" and came away with what we think was a blooper. We will have to watch it again on DVD later to be sure.
DeleteBloopers are so much fun. Saw one on Newsroom the other day. First something was there and then it wasn't and then it was. Another show had people disappearing. Thank goodness for a DVR because I can go right back look at it again. Pure waste of time, but a bit of schadenfreude. Sort of like people looking for typos in a book and then writing to the publisher to let them know. Editors are always so happy to get those messages.
DeleteHa! I bet they are! Especially after the book has been out a couple years. I know what you mean. Doors open and closed, clothing and hair rearranged, cigarettes fresh lit and suddenly half smoked, a glass half full, then full, then empty. And all because the director decided to shoot a two sided conversation with one camera, first one angle and then the other. Did you see the fake "blooper reel" at the end of one of the animated features in the past couple years. Ice Age or Shrek or one of those. Of course they're no actual bloopers. They're cartoons!
