Here are a few children in play clothes and “Sunday” clothes. When young, boys and girls often wore the same sort of smock or dress. It was probably more of a convenience than anything else. Gender specific clothing for children started becoming more prevalent it seems, around 1920 or 1930.
Most of these are certainly little boys. Some may be girls with very short hair too. You decide.
