Occasionally the search for old photographs finds your LOST GALLERY curator in the darkest corner of a junk shop, elbow deep in a hat-box of ephemera. It's rare, but occasionally we see a familiar face ...
An alien lands and tells the people of Earth that they must live peacefully or be destroyed as a danger to other planets.
This 1951 film stars Michael Rennie, Patricia Neal, Hugh Marlowe and Sam Jaffe.
Here, newscaster Drew Pearson (uncredited) tells the world of an alien space ship that has landed in Washington, DC.
Gort descends the gangplank to exterminate some of the troublesome vermin infesting Washington. Besides, Klaatu has been "accidently" shot and he needs to get him back into the saucer for repairs.
Here Gort has Klaatu (Michael Rennie) on the operating table getting him sorted out so he can finish the movie.
That's Patricia Neal watching back there. Klaatu later gives Patricia the magic words "Klaatu barada nikto" in case something else improper happens there in Washington.
Hm. I wonder if Gort might be available for a return visit. Washington is needing some of his special attention again.
