Studio Portraits - Children - Page Two

One photograph subject that seldom fails to get emotional response is the Portrait of a Child.

The child is often in awe of the photograph studio's strange trappings, sometimes fearful of consequences for not "holding still" and sometimes bored with it all. But occasionally there is a child who is really caught up in being the center of attention. It all shows in their unabashed faces.

Here is a page of children as photographed in a professional studio. Look at the expressions. Just what is going through their innocent minds?

THE KIDS Lesson one. It is always a mystery how a photograph of any of these precious children could end up lost or abandoned. Here are a few. You will probably say "Ooh..." at least once.

  2. I am so glad you liked them. Check page two also. I did a series called Saturday's child on THINKS HAPPEN. I posted a child's portrait every Saturday for about a year. But most of those were snapshots, not studio portraits. I've rescued lots of them.
