Back Page - The Tinted Photograph - Page Two

Photobooth girl 04

There was a time when there was no such dream as an actual color photograph.

So, photographs could be "tinted" by hand to boost the realism. Some of these old photographs are quite artistic.

Others, well, not so much ...

This one at the right, is lightly tinted and
has tiny "jewels" (probably glass chips)

THE KIDS Lesson one.
It is always a mystery how a photograph of any of these precious children could end up lost or abandoned. Here are a few. You will probably say "Ooh..." at least once.

  1. Did you see the one that sold yesterday on ebay of the guy with the wonderful background? It's stunning. Of course the big time buyers were bidding for it. Way out of my price range.
